It’s genuinely difficult to put into words just how much this past week has meant to me. To be here at the premiere of a movie I worked on, after all the trials, tribulations, and obstacles these past few years have brought upon my life, is a true blessing from God. Being a film critic, I will refrain from writing a full blown review on this movie, as such activity would compromise my integrity as a fair and balanced journalist. What I will say is that Expendables 4 is an immensely entertaining popcorn action movie, almost like a long lost 80’s cheesy cult classic. It’s packed to the brim with exhilarating stunt work, hilarious team banter, a great soundtrack, and all the over the top action violence that the previous installment in the series was sorely missing. I would like to thank my good friend and producer Jonathan “Yoni” Yunger for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity to work on such a major movie production and I look forward to what the future holds for my further endeavors in this industry. Also, just an absolute privilege to be in the presence of producers Kevin King Templeton, Jonathan Yunger, Jeffrey Greenstein, Les Weldon, Avi Lerner, and director Scott Waugh. My only request is that when you do see the movie, aside from turning off your phone/being courteous, please stay to watch the credits roll. It’s not just about seeing my name up there, but also the names of fellow crew members who worked day and night, tooth and nail to make the movie magic happen. One final note. Do not be discouraged by the phony negative reviews that certain self proclaimed “cinema experts” are peddling. First and foremost, this movie was made for the FANS. I seriously cannot wait for everyone to witness the sheer visceral carnage we cooked up. God is indeed, GREAT 🙏❤️
