October 8: Must See for the Uneducated

Why do I look so moody in this picture you may be wondering? I don’t know, maybe it’s because I haven’t seen a single fellow professional movie critic post a review about this movie but instead supported the anti-Israel Oscar winning documentary. The only people I see talking about this movie are my fellow Jews and a few of our Christian allies. The only people who I saw at my screening were elderly Jews who probably didn’t need to be lectured about the obvious explosion in antisemitism post Oct 7th but wanted to support the film anyway. October 8 is a powerful documentary that needs to be seen primarily by those who are uneducated about Israel, antisemitism, and the atrocities of Oct 7th. What’s been happening on these American college campuses with Marxist students and professors bullying Jewish students and faculty is an outrage that so many of you, including people I know, were absolutely silent about. This is exactly why I barely have any friends from college left, because most of them hate America, Israel, and Jews no matter how articulately they want to word it. This is also why I don’t belong to any major publication and write independently, because there is no place for a proud pro Israel conservative free thinking Jew in the world of online mainstream film criticism. If you think this is a right or left wing issue, then you’ve already missed the point. Having said that, we need everyone, especially non-Jews like our beautiful brothers and sisters in Christ to go see @october8thefilm this week before it leaves theaters. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
